Text messages from Player Portal (Rambo)

Player Portal (published by Team Portals, a BTR company) sends text messages about your account and your teams, and answers when you text us. This page explains what we send, how to start and stop the messages, and how your mobile number is protected.

What you’ll get

  • Team invitations from your coach or team manager, with a link to join the team.
  • Account and team notifications such as approval requests and confirmations.
  • Replies from Rambo when you text us with a question.

We never send marketing or promotional texts.

How to opt in

We only text you after you opt in, in either of two ways:

  1. Text START to +1 (434) 830-5656. We reply to confirm you are subscribed.
  2. Tick the box on the sign-up form at playerportal.app/signup. It appears under the Mobile field, once you type a mobile number. The box is never ticked for you, and you can create an account without ticking it. We text you once to confirm.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

How many texts you get depends on what happens on your account and teams, and on how often you text Rambo.

How to opt out

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT to any message, at any time. You will get one final text confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no more messages after that. To start again, text START, UNSTOP or YES to +1 (434) 830-5656.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile number and privacy

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use your number only to send the messages described on this page. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms for the rest.
